Kerry has extensive advocacy experience appearing in summary and indictable Criminal Law matters. She also has extensive experience as an advocate in the Children's Court in criminal and protective matters.
Kerry served as a solicitor for Victoria Legal Aid from 2002 - 2010. As a solicitor Kerry regularly appeared as an advocate in the Magistrates' Court in contested bail applications, contest mentions, committal matters and pleas; in the County Court for pleas and appeals and has prepared and instructed in criminal trials.
Kerry has appeared regularly as an advocate in criminal and protective matters at the Children's Court. She has been a regular volunteer with YRIPP which is the 24 hour legal advice line for young people.
Kerry has regularly instructed in Criminal Law and Procedure, Advocacy and Bail Applications for the Practicing Certificate course at Leo Cussen Institute.
